Mizuna is an Asian green that is often found in baby greens salad mixes.  It has a slightly peppery flavor and is delicious lightly cooked in stir-fries, soups, and raw in salads.  It has large serrated leaves, and it’s appearance is somewhat feather like.

Wrap in plastic and store in vegetable crisper for up to 5 days.


 Wash thoroughly, and dry for salads.  A salad spinner is the best tool for washing and drying.  Chop or tear into bite size pieces, the stem is thin and it is not necessary to remove the stem.  Add to stir-fries and soups at the last few minutes of cooking.
